Supposedly there are to be follow up articles to this one that will lead to NC where a similar story has unfolded for years.

To their credit I understand Outer Banks Catch has refused to "play" with Sea to Table for quite some time over known issues such as this.  But that doesn't mean NC is clean on this.
Shrimp trawling never stops in Pamlico Sound. It just pauses on the weekend so crabs can remove the dead and dying from the battlefield.
