Polluted Waterways From Rain Runoff Closes Some Waterways To Shell Fishing

The much need rain over the past several days has had some negatives effects. The water runoff has caused some spots of pollution.
The North Carolina Division Of Marine Fisheries has temporarily closed several areas for shell fishing. Under this advisory are waterways in Brunswick, Onslow and Carteret Counties. Official say no one is allowed to harvest or sell oysters, clams or mussels from these waters.
